              Eastlake 11, Garfield 0 Hits were the name of the game today as Eastlake
              dominated Garfield in a 10-run shortened game at Inglewood J.H.
              Eastlake pitchers kept Garfield to only one hit. Devin Haskell was
              the starter and pitched 2 innings with 3 strikeouts. Brandon
              Eggers, the game's winning pitcher, put in 2 innings of work and
              closer Matt Garrett pitched the game's final inning, fielding all
              3 ground ball hit in the inning to seal the deal. Eastlake bats
              came alive. Adam Hicks and Anthony Berhold each had 1 RBI. Kyle
              Walther had 2 RBI's, and Brett Upchurch blasted a grand slam home
              run over the left-center fence in the 3rd inning to score Joel
              Newberry, Ben Campbell and George Vigeland. Next week's action includes Franklin at home and
              Woodinville in a Thursday night game. |
