Playing well beyond their position in the standings, Juanita handed Eastlake an unexpected defeat as the Wolves got behind early and stayed there. Tim Pickard got roughed up on the mound giving up 8 hits and 4 walks while taking 1 strikeout. Nick Whitworth pitched 3 innings of relief giving up 5 hits and 2 walks. Ryan Focht was 2 for 4 at the plate and Anthony Berhold chalked up the only earned RBI for the Wolves and also got a single late in the game. Joel Newberry hit a double and Ben Campbell and Mike Adams each had a hit during the game. Kyle Walther pulled off a double play on second base in the 6th inning, with an unassisted tag out on second and expert throw to first.
 

Eastlake’s last game of the regular season will be against Lake Washington on home turf Friday afternoon.
