              Prep 4, Eastlake 3 Eastlake
Varsity started their season battling both the rough weather and a
tough opponent at Inglewood J.H. field as Seattle Prep pulled off
a come-from-behind win today. Ian Farmer was the starting pitcher,
racking up 7 strikeouts in 3 innings. Ben Campbell tallied the
first base hit of the season with a single in the 1st inning.
Brett Upchurch stretched an RBI double  into a triple, capitalizing
on defensive errors by Seattle Prep. Kyle Walther drove in a run
with his hit in the 1st inning. Devin Haskell took over on the
mound in the 4th inning and kept Seattle Prep scoreless through 2
innings. Ryan Focht came in on relief in the 6th inning, and
Seattle Prep scored 3 runs. George Vigeland's RBI in the bottom of
the 6th tied the game up. Seattle Prep scored another run in the
7th and, as darkness began to fall on Inglewood, Kyle Walther's
hit to centerfield with 2 outs was caught, ending the game.
