Eastlake overcame
some shaky defense to get their first win of the season. Nick
Whitworth pitched 4 strong innings with 4 strikeouts and 1 earned
run. Tim Pickard came on to pitch the last 3 innings to get the
win when Eastlake scored the go-ahead runs in the top of the 7th.
Danny Ballance had 2 RBI's, Tim Ahern had 1 RBI and Bryan Yates
had a solo home run. Sean Teague went 2-4 with a run scored. Tomorrow Eastlake
plays Juanita at Peter Kirk Park at 3:45.
